She appeared in two episodes on Showtime's Weeds, starring Mary Louise Parker. The actress is famous for her roles as Judy Kramer in Point Pleasant the 2005 show which aired on Fox and as Marcy Bender on Dawson's Creek. On the Guiding Light soap show, she appeared as Marina Cooper. This role brought her an award nomination from the Soap Opera Digest magazine in 2003 as Outstanding newcomer. Dollar was a part of the ABC soap opera Women's Murder Club as Cindy Thomas between 2007 and 2008. The actress was on her 2012 NBC series pilot Happy Valley but it was not aired.
