She recently directed her first film together with Nicole C. Mullen in the film THE GOD WHO SEES. They both co-wrote and composed the score for the film. Gifford provides support to a variety of groups for children like Childhelp. She also supports the Association to Benefit Children, which was the genesis of Cassidy's place. In her capacity as a human rights activist, she was given an honorary diploma at Marymount University in recognition of her efforts in labor relations.
